As a company who produces high quality cable assemblies we need the right equipment to help us achieve the high level of quality expected by our customers. In our search for a more suitable and efficient method for shrinking, identification of markers and protective sleeving we wanted to replace the hot air guns we were using with a more controllable method. Our luck was in, we had an opportunity to be one of the first companies to trial the newly developed Haloblaze automated shrink machine. Our trials proved highly successful and we immediately recorded shrink time improvements up to 50% on our most used shrink materials. Not only did we have major improvements in our shrink times but the quality of finish was also improved and more importantly, the process was repeatable. As a result we purchased our 1st Haloblaze in January 2012. We have just taken delivery of our second Haloblaze HDTR machine which has improved even further the shrink times between 87% to 180% on some materials.
