WDT UP 60 Heavy Duty Crimping Press
The WDT UP 60 Heavy Duty Crimping Press with parallel closing mechanism was developed as the most powerful pneumatic machine in the WDT portfolio for processing large electrical contacts. The adapter system can be switched without the need for additional tools and guarantees the highest levels of flexibility, so that both small applications (min. 0.08 mm²) and large cross-sections (max. 180 mm², depending on the contact material and wall thickness) can be processed.
With the integrated back stroke control, this WDT UP 60 Heavy Duty Crimping Press guarantees short cycle times with reduced energy consumption.
Productivity is increased and operation is greatly simplified through the use of the safety foot pedal – the hands remain free to insert the contacts and strands. The integrated sequence control system ensures the highest possible levels of process quality.
The adapters can be exchanged easily, quickly and without the need for additional tools, which offers the operator a wide range of processing options for loose contacts. Customer-specific dies for special applications can be developed quickly and easily, meaning a suitable processing method can be found or established for virtually all loose electrical contacts.
Thanks to the ergonomic inclination of about 10° on the machine, the crimp zone remains visible and the basic prerequisites for user-friendly, ergonomic operation are met. The integrated LED light source ensures the working area is optimally illuminated and errors are avoided during operation.
The UP 60 pneumatic parallel crimp machine corresponds to EC Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and is CE compliant.
All WEZAG dies (with the WEZAG adapter) and all WDT dies (with the WDT adapter) can be used in the basic machine for a range of standard and special applications with small contacts, as can all EHC 10 dies (with the EHC 10 adapter) and round dies (with the U Die adapter) for large cross-sections.
Special adapters can also be used for dies from other manufacturers on request.
